What is thriller?
A thriller is a novel, play, or movie with an exciting plot. It often revolves around anticipation and suspense, with the aim being to keep the audience alert and on the edge of their seats. Tension and excitement are often used as the main elements of thriller films.




The Girl with the Dragon tattoo is Action Mystery thriller, which the movie is a remake of a current movie from Denmark. The Director is David Fincher, who is well-known for his thriller movies. The code and conventions for this movie is there is suspense, tension and over-whelming feeling rushing through you. There are lots of criminals/ cops chasing criminals/ heists going through the movie whilst. This movie got released in thereates and movies at 2011.
Gone girl is an Drama mystery thriller, which is based on an international best-selling book by Gillian Flynn. The code and conventions used in this movie is suspense, tension, over-whelming feeling rushing through you. There are lots of assumptions and doubts been made in our heads in the movie as it wants us to feel a certain way. The movie got released in the cinema at 2014, it was nominated for an Oscar for it's profound code and coventions been used to make the audience feel indirectly different every single moment.


Panic Room is a thriller movie(it doesn't have a hybrid or a sub genre), which is directed by David Fincher. The code and conventions used in the movie is suspense, tension, worries, doubts, over-whelming feelings. The movie has a mother and a daughter crying for their sanity in the panic room whilst two thieves are trying to get in the panic room to take a fortune for themselves. The whole time is the heist of the thieves building up, which makes us intrigued in the movie even more. The movie got released in the cinema in 2002.
