Genre(in general)
Genre is the term for any category based on some set of stylistic criteria. Genres are formed by conventions that change over time as new genres are invented and the use of old ones are discontinued. Every genre is governed by a set of codes and conventions, or rules that are followed for that genre. The most well-known genres are action adventure, comedy, horror and romance.
